GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY

this girl is fucking beautiful. for real. i can't stop looking at her. and then i noticed the cherry on top of this lovely sundae and i just about died. i can't handle this much love.

last night i found myself singing this song karaoke-style with a room full of folks. it was somehow more satisfying to sing in earnest than all the other songs we had sung that night. and then someone suggested i listen to this episode of "this american life":

looking at photographs is one of the few things that makes me truly happy.

this morning i noticed two crows picking at the fresh remains of squirrel roadkill. i was simultaneously happy for the crows and sad for the squirrel. i enjoyed watching the crows patiently wait for cars to pass before gingerly hopping back into the street to eat.

i'm cleaning out my website. there are many photos that i no longer find interesting. for now i'll officially chalk it up to seeing in a more mature way. still, in the back of mind i can hear those tiny little voices. you're getting boring, they say, you are filled with apathy and you can do nothing about it, they say. i guess those voices are noticing something.

"rat staring contest", found on wtf_nature. halfway through a finger enters the screen to poke one rat, and both rats turn to the camera for a few moments to inspect the intruder. then they turn back to each other simultaneously. and continue. staring.

this lucky lady is inspecting the heat shield for the crew capsule of the NASA constellation space vehicle. she is an M&P engineer just like me, see #5 in the link. sometimes i wish i could talk about the amazing stuff i get to see and do at work. awesome pictures anyways.
